A new seafood restaurant arrives in Tivoli Village today when Boston’s Fish House & Bar opens at the outdoor mall. Boston’s from Nicholas and Bryan Sord, who opened Sunny Side Up at Boca Park last year just as the state closed restaurants for dine-in service to prevent the spread of COVID-19, features seafood flown in daily.
The restaurant offers an open kitchen, where diners can watch dishes made through protective covers. While the restaurant initially only serves from 3 to 10 p.m. until it starts up lunch service, the menu features cioppino, coconut-crusted sea bass, cedar plank salmon topped with a stone ground mustard honey glaze, Lake Superior white fish, and a whole Mediterranean-style branzino stuffed with herbs. Favorites such as crab cakes, clams casino, and oysters Rockefeller appear on the starters menu, while seafood towers, whole lobster, and oysters on the half shell are among the fresh catches of the day.
Chef Francesco De Furia takes over the kitchen. His resume include stints as an assistant executive chef at Wynn Las Vegas, as well as Bistro 57 at Aliante Casino and Robert De Niro’s Ago in Los Angeles. He helped open Valentino at the Venetian. Some of his specialty dishes include pappardelle sea bass in a lemon sauce, linguini with clams in white wine garlic sauce, penne shrimp in vodka sauce, and seafood fettuccini.
Boston’s Fish House takes over the SeaBream space that never officially opened at Tivoli Village last year.
Also on the way, The Galbi Korean BBQ, named after the Korean culinary term associated with grilled beef, or pork, short ribs. The restaurant recently opened a location on Eastern Avenue in Henderson with Korean barbecue using quality grilled ingredients in a smart, modern environment. Back in May, the restaurant announced plans to open in Tivoli Village by the end of 2020, taking over a space behind Boston’s Fish House.
The former Hamptons location becomes new lounge from El Dorado Cantina. The Lounge at El Dorado takes over the neighboring space adjoined by a courtyard. El Dorado Cantina opened its second Las Vegas location last January, and the adjacent lounge will share hours, as well as the courtyard and patio space.
Boston’s Fish House & Bar, Tivoli Village, 400 S. Rampart Boulevard, Suite 190, 725-777-3730. Open from 3 to 10 p.m. daily and once lunch starts, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
