Less than two years after its very successful expansion to Henderson’s Water Street, locals favorite Juan’s Flaming Fajitas & Cantina has set its sights on Aliante for its third Mexican restaurant and sports bar.
A rare new addition to the neighborhood, the cantina will join the under construction Village Pub, Green Valley Grocery Gas Station, and drive-thru Dutch Bros Coffee outpost at the intersection of Aliante and Centennial Parkways, one mile south of the Aliante Casino.
Moving behind the existing Nevada State Bank, permits submitted to the City of North Las Vegas reveal Juan’s Flaming Fajitas will move into a built-from-scratch, 6,792-square-foot building, featuring a 2,450-square-foot main dining room, a 650-square-foot indoor patio, and a 533-square-foot separate cantina space, also proposed to host five gaming machines on the bar top.
Larger in size than both its Henderson site and the seven-year-old Spring Valley original on Tropicana Avenue, once approved, fans should not expect a debut until late in the year.
Family friendly and serving lunch, dinner, and a weekend brunch, the restaurant serves a lengthy menu highlighted by flaming fajitas, chile rellenos, enchiladas de mole, sopas, ensaladas, table-side guacamole, and Baja-style fish tacos, plus margaritas, mojitos, and a generous collection of tequilas.
