The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas made its debut on December 15, 2010, bringing a luxury casino-resort to the Las Vegas Strip. Now the resort celebrates 10 years with anniversary food and beverage specials throughout 2021. A portion of proceeds from each 10-year dish and menu will benefit the Las Vegas Rescue Mission. Restaurants and bars offering specialty menus include: The Barbershop, Beauty & Essex, Blue Ribbon, Clique Bar & Lounge, The Chandelier, China Poblano, Holsteins, Jaleo, Momofuku, Scarpetta, and Zuma.
The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails has the Irish Honey cocktail made with Jameson Black Barrel Irish Whiskey, lemon juice, St Germain, and sage honey.
Beauty & Essex, the restaurant from Chopped judge Christ Santos, has tuna poke wonton tacos with chiffonade cilantro, radish, and wasabi Kewpie.
Over at Blue Ribbon, the restaurant from Eric and Bruce Bromberg, diners can order a classic cheese fondue with bread sticks, potato skins, bacon bits, apple, and bread.
The Chandelier, the centerpiece lounge at the resort, has the Cosmopolitan’s Cosmopolitan with white cranberry, lemon, cranberry syrup, Solerno orange liqueur, and Hangar mandarin vodka.
José Andrés China Poblano offers its salt air margarita, a personal creation by Andrés, with lime and salt “Air,” as well as a 20 vegetable fried rice with mushrooms, egg, tofu, and an option to add chicken, beef, or shrimp for an additional cost.
CliQue, the lounge off the casino floor, has The Don Sandia with Casamigos Blanco, watermelon, lime, and agave served in a hollowed cucumber.
Holsteins Shakes & Buns, the burger specialist, offers a classic burger with grass-fed beef, lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, sauce, and pickles.
Jaleo, Andrés’ tapas restaurant, has the Ultimate Gin & Tonic with Hendrick’s Gin, Fever-Tree Indian tonic water, Makrut leaf, juniper, lemon, and lime, along with gambas al ajillo, shrimp sautéed with garlic.
David Chang’s Momofuku offers its large format five-spice roast duck with rice, Bibb lettuce, chive pancakes, kimchi, hoisin, ssäm sauce, ginger scallion sauce, and herbs.
Finally, Scarpetta has picci pasta with lobster, tarragon, almond, and chili pesto.
The resort also plans to continue its Paired culinary dinner with limited, chef-curated menus.
