Seafood lovers in Henderson can head to The Vikings Boiling Seafood, which launched its own spin on “N’awlins-style” cooking.
Located inside the Green Valley Town Center II at the intersection of Green Valley Parkway and Sunset Road, the restaurant sits a short drive from the Ethel M Chocolate Factory, within the same retail hub as Barley’s Casino & Brewing Co.
A mock-Viking sea vessel with booth seating, flags, shields, and an illuminated, carved-dragon prow dominates the dining room. The restaurant encourages diners to get messy while they eat with their hands. Already the Vikings promises that a second location is in the works,
Viking, Golden Knights, and Raiders combo deals are available for groups of two, four, or six, featuring shrimp, mussels, corn, sausage, and fries, or customers can choose their seafood by the pound, priced at market rates and including shrimp, snow and king crab legs, live lobsters, Dungeness crab, clams, and crawfish, prepared with a choice of seasoning and spice level.
Also on the menu, wings, po-boys, and orders of étouffée, calamari, Cajun fries, soft shell crab, and servings of fried oysters, catfish, and shrimp.
The Vikings Boiling Seafood requires reservations for indoor seating, and takeout orders can be placed directly with the restaurant.
