California’s Tru Bru Organic Coffee Expands to Henderson

Created with a mission of spreading “wholesome goodness,” micro-roastery Tru Bru Organic Coffee is well on its way to Henderson, importing a six-year history of encouraging its customers to “slow down” and enjoy its food, wine, and craft beer menu.

Launched in Orange, California, the Nevada expansion will take over a 2,442-square-foot corner space at The Commons at Seven Hills retail center, already home to Angelina’s Pizzeria at the intersection of Horizon Ridge Parkway and Seven Hills Drive. Tru Bru presented plans to the City of Henderson to add a new outdoor patio to the former cigar lounge.

Promised to be coming soon, the original location roasts all its coffee in micro-batches and prides itself as a community destination open daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. welcoming students and parents, and designed as a regular meeting place for friends.

Yet to reveal its ambitions for Henderson, the Tru Bru original has hosted live music and trivia nights, and grew from its coffee shop origins to serve wine, craft beer, sangria, and mimosas.

Focused on serving organic chicken, eggs, and grass-fed beef, breakfast choices include French toast, burritos, sandwiches, scrambles, and pastries heated in the wood-fired oven, plus lunch options of burgers, salads, a tuna melt, and vegan soups, and small bite favorites of Caprese salad, loaded potatoes, avocado toast, and hummus paired with pita bread.
