The Cosmopolitan Temporarily Closes Its Supper Club

COSMOPOLITAN OF LAS VEGAS — Rose. Rabbit. Lie., the supper club at the resort, temporarily closed on January 2. “Beginning Jan. 2, Rose.Rabbit.Lie. will temporarily suspend operations,” a Cosmopolitan spokesperson tells the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “We are hopeful that business levels will recover into the new year, from which operations will continue to be reevaluated.” The restaurant with entertainment originally reopened in June after the resort returned following a 78-day shutdown by the state to prevent the spread of COVID-19. MIAMI — Café Americano opened a third location of its all-day diner inside the Hotel Victor on Ocean Drive in South Beach. Miami-based V&E Restaurant Group already has locations at Caesars Palace and Paris Las Vegas. The restaurant offers classic American fare with a Latin twist for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late-night menus, as well as a cocktail list. [Miami New Times]

LAS VEGAS — Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop bought Wing Zone, a fast-casual restaurant chain that serves Buffalo chicken wings. During 2020, Capriotti’s opened 18 new restaurants and signed 24 franchise agreements in Miami, Philadelphia, Denver, New York City and more. That marks 115 shops open with an additional 210 in development, with more than 30 opening in 2021. The franchise deals bring 106 new restaurants opening in the coming years. [EaterWire]
