SerVehZah Craft Beer Bottle Shop & Taproom debuted in the Arts District, adding to the local beer scene that’s teaming with newcomers.
Craft beer aficionados Anthony Herrera, Jonathan Barboza, and Tony Martinez created the bar, and derived the name from the phonetic pronunciation of “beer” in Spanish.
SerVehZah brings a taproom with 24 craft beers to tap. Local breweries such as CraftHaus, HUDL Brewing, Tenaya Creek, and Lovelady Brewing Co. join High Water Brewing out of Lodi, California; Coedo Brewery from San Diego; Imbib Custom Brews out of Reno; and more on the taps. A limited number of spirits, bottled and canned beers, and wines also make the menu.
The airy interior features “Hofbräu seating” with light wood chairs and tables, a long bar equipped with 24 brews on tap, as well as a 379-square-foot patio.
SerVehZah originally planned a smaller Henderson location back in 2018, before landing a 2,122-square-foot indoor and outdoor downtown space at the intersection of Commerce Avenue and Colorado Street.
The Arts District now features a taproom from CraftHaus, Beer District Brewing, and Hop Nuts Brewing, while the Gateway District just to the south houses HUDL Brewing, Nevada Brew Works, and Able Baker Brewing for a veritable beer crawl featuring local brews.
SerVehZah Craft Beer Bottle Shop & Taproom, 1301 S. Commerce St. Open from noon to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from noon to midnight on Friday and Saturday. Head to the website for reservations.
