Farm Basket Back on Track to Bring Its Iconic Chicken Cluckers and Turkey Gobblers to the Eastside

Eastside fans of Las Vegas institution Farm Basket patiently waited more than a year since the home of cluckers, gobblers, and orange rolls announced a new expansion headed for Nellis Boulevard. And now, updated paperwork reveals the much-anticipated casual restaurant is finally back on track.

The restaurant moves into a new building at the Winterwood Pavilion retail center, close to the northeast corner of Sahara Avenue and Nellis Boulevard 12 miles to the east of the original chicken- and turkey-focused menu found on Charleston Boulevard. Farm Basket moves into a building overseen by developers Dapper Cos., neighboring The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill and a standalone expansion of The Human Bean coffee shop chain.

Confidently investing an estimated budget of $287,000 in overhaul costs, new permits were recently filed to remodel space 150 inside the under-construction shell building.

A new management team took over the local fixture for more than four decades in 2018 with a renewed commitment to sustaining the nostalgic vibe and drive-thru convenience. Serving a menu enjoyed by generations of locals, the house specialties include chicken and turkey sandwiches, chicken stuffed rolled tacos, fries smothered in cheese and gravy, and sweet orange country rolls.

Farm Basket has previously shared it hopes to grow to as many as seven Las Vegas outposts. A revised, 2022 opening date on Nellis Boulevard has not been announced.
