Another new addition to the Town Square dining scene started construction a short distance from Master Kim’s Korean BBQ and promises an elevated twist on pizza and dessert pies. Crust & Roux Gourmet Pie Co. moves into the 3,500-square-foot suite 120 at The Landings retail and dining annex on the southeastern border of the outdoor shopping mall, overseen by Lowell Raven, who also has two more restaurants in the works.

Raven says his late father, Christopher Raven, inspired the restaurant that plans to feature a white contemporary interior, a lounge, presentation kitchen, wine display, and booth and regular seating. The restaurant promises a menu of savory pot pies and as many as a dozen dessert choices such as blueberry zest and strawberry peach. Pizza sauce options will range from traditional red and seafood marinara to the namesake white-butter roux.

An estimated 2022 debut day has not been announced. Raven is also working on Thick & Thin Treats, described as a modern dessert and healthy juice bar, and Pine Bistro, serving a menu of Lebanese-inspired cuisine. Locations for either project are still to revealed.

Town Square’s park becomes the home for Two Hands Seoul Fresh Corn Dogs, serving Korean corn dogs from franchise owners Ann and Ron Lim. The couple plans to open the kiosk with spicy dogs coated in hot Cheetos powder and potato dogs coated in diced potatoes, along with a crispy rice version and classic corn dogs that combine spicy and sweet flavors. “We wanted to share the experience of having a Korean corn dog with the Vegas community,” Ann Lim says. The kiosk opens in early October open daily on Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

At Town Square, Crust & Roux joins the recently launched Milano Restaurant & Bar, plus the still in the works Chewy Boba, and Filipino restaurant Noypitz Bar & Grill, imported from West Covina and Cerritos, California.
