The super-stylish Eight Cigar Lounge threw open its doors at Resorts World on November 4 with a 2,200-square foot terrace overlooking the Las Vegas Strip and a selection of over 150 cigars ranging from $18 to $1,500.
The 7,000-square foot smokers’ paradise features plenty of indoor and outdoor space divided into eight distinct areas. There are fireplaces, a custom-built humidor, and a few personal lockers with gold name plates to store cigars and spirits that cost $5,000 a year to call one’s own. The bar tailors the cocktails to pair well with cigars.
The new smokers’ lounge comes from entrepreneur Giuseppe Bravo, celebrity attorney David Chesnoff (who recently made news for his role defending former Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs III and real-estate heir Robert Durst), and Clique Hospitality founder Andy Masi.
Vegas stalwart and beloved boxer Mike Tyson showed up for the some of the week’s opening festivities, along with hockey great Wayne Gretzky and others.
Eight Cigar Lounge is open Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m.; on Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. until 2 a.m.; and on Sunday from 10 a.m. until 2 a.m.
