Get ready for pool season in Las Vegas. Daylight Beach at Mandalay Bay plans to reopen for the 2021 pool season on Friday, March 5, as an adult-only pool scene for those 21 and over. The 50,000-square-foot, open-air property on the southern side of the resort comes with a 4,400 square-foot main pool and two additional private pools for cabana customers.
Daylight plans to be open on Fridays through Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with bottle service, beach-worthy food, and cocktails. Then starting on April 30, the pool opens for night-time swimming on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. with local deejays providing the ambiance.
Customers will need to make a reservation to gain entrance. For tickets and cabana reservations, call 702-632-4700 or head online to daylightvegas.com.
While pool parties cannot reopen yet under the state’s COVID-19 directives, more relaxed versions of pools can open as long as customers wear a mask when not in the pool or actively eating or drinking, and pools maintain 25 percent occupancy levels — a mandate in effect in the state through this weekend — and maintain social distancing.
Last year, most adults-only pools opened on the Strip with similar setups during the pandemic.
