Announced as temporarily closed and hoping to return to the Venetian later this spring, The Halal Guys and 7 Leaves Cafe will instead be replaced by two San Francisco imports already under construction at the Grand Canal Shoppes food court.
The third local outpost for New York food cart favorite The Halal Guys arrived at the resort two years ago, sharing the 1,152-square-foot counter-service space with 7 leaves Cafe.
Predicting a spring debut, Fire of Brazil Express will now replace the gyros and rice menu with a fast-casual collection of churrascaria-inspired grilled meats and lunch bowls, featuring cuts of beef, pork, and chicken served with sides including paella, rice, feijoada, and fried plantains, plus a roster of Brazilian sodas.
Expanding from San Francisco’s Westfield mall Food Emporium, Fire of Brazil is also creating the adjoining new project, Halo Halo Filipino Kitchen, moving inside the former coffee spot and located next to steak and seafood restaurant Chew & Chug.
The original Halal Guys restaurant at 3755 Spring Mountain continues to be open for takeout and delivery, while the Forum Food Court counter at Caesars Palace remains “temporarily closed,” with no hint of a return date.
7 Leaves Cafe is open daily in Chinatown, on Rainbow Boulevard in the southwest, and is preparing to debut a new location in Spring Valley.
