A vegan Mexican restaurant plants its flag in Henderson this summer. Tacotarian already has locations in Spring Valley and the Arts District, and its third location in Henderson brings its menu of vegan tacos, flautas, burritos, enchiladas, and more.
Renditions with carne asada and al pastor use seitan, while the gabacho comes with Beyond beef, barbacoa uses chili-braised jackfruit, and a chorizo version uses a soy-based chorizo. A giant taco comes stuffed with French fries, refried beans, and nacho cheese. In all, the restaurant offers 16 versions of vegan tacos.
“Our initial dream was to have a vegan taco shop on every corner, and I feel like we’re really gaining momentum,” co-owner Carlos Corral says in a press statement. “We hope to continue to expand in Las Vegas and in other cities and states. The demand is there. People want healthier, plant-based options that also taste great. When people come in that have never been I always go in the kitchen and make them tacos the way I make them in my home town of Los Mochis. l love to see non vegans tell me they love our food so much they would consider going vegan.”
The interior of the Henderson location takes on the look of the Fort Apache Road location with a large patio, black and white tiles, and teal accents. The restaurant takes over a former Starbuck’s at 75 S. Valle Verde Drive #200 near the 215 Beltway.
