Pool Season Returns to MGM Resorts’ Properties on the Las Vegas Strip

Adults-only options, lazy rivers, wave pools, and more reopen

MGM Resorts gets ready to open its pools for the season, with COVID-19 safety precautions in place.

The Bellagio’s Mediterranean Pool with its five courtyard settings opens March 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. An adults-only pool offers chaise lounge chairs and massage treatments.

Aria’s three pools open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. The Sky Pool for the resort’s Sky Suites guests features treats such as mochi ice cream or fruit skewers every 90 minutes. Liquid Pool Lounge opens for those 21 and older on March 12.

MGM Grand’s 6.5 acres of outdoor complex features four swimming pools, three whirlpools, and waterfalls opening March 1, and a lazy river reopening in mid-March. Pool bars scattered throughout serve tropical cocktails and poolside fare. Guests 21-plus can reserve daybeds, banquets, bungalows, and cabanas at Wet Republic Ultra Pool starting March 5.

Mandalay Bay Beach and its 11-acre aquatic playground returns in March with a 1.6 million-gallon wave pool, lazy river, 2,700 tons of sand, and more. Daylight Beach Club returns March 5. The adults-only Moorea Beach Club also returns in March.

The pool at the Four Seasons Las Vegas reopens in March with poolside fare and free hourly amenities such as frozen fruit skewers and smoothies.

Bare Pool Lounge at the Mirage reopens in March 19 from 11 a.m. to 4. p.m. Friday through Sunday for those 21 and older. The resort’s pool already reopened Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Park MGM pool reopens in March from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays through Sundays.

MGM Resorts says that pool lounge chairs will be placed within six feet between groups of guests with 50 percent occupancy levels. Cabanas are limited to six people, and every other cabana will be available. Masks are required for guests at all times unless in the water or actively eating, drinking, or smoking.

All MGM Resorts pools offer wait lists and online reservations to reserve lounge chairs, cabanas, and pool access.
