Yumlab Debuts Elixirs and Delectables at an Eastside Drive-Thru

Vacant for almost two years, a burrito-shaped, 288-square-foot structure on Flamingo Road has transformed into a drive-thru café, now serving coffee, elixirs, baked goods, and pastries Monday to Saturday.

Previously home to Desi Burrito, an off-shoot of the very popular Mint Indian Bistro located a short distance away, newcomer Yumlab features a small patio and adjacent parking at the eastside retail center, situated between Maryland Parkway and Paradise Road.

Despite the compact size, Yumlab’s menu offers a full range of beverages and quick snacks, plus juices, power shots, teas, espresso, and coffee selections including a cold brew choice. Among the “elixirs,” the “golden milk” drink, mixed with turmeric and spices, a range of Italian sodas, and hot chocolate topped with marshmallows.

The “delectables” section adds black and white cookies, croissants, Danish pastries, and muffins. Heartier choices include granola dishes called “spoons,” and a collection of bagels, highlighted by the “Almost Elvis” prepared with peanut butter, jam and banana, a seasoned avocado option and the vegan friendly “Vagel,” topped with a scallion schmear.
