A new event space hopes to be the go-to destination for watching big games, whether from the Vegas Golden Knights, UNLV Rebels, or Las Vegas Raiders.
Diversion Amusements from the owners of Egg Works and Egg & I brings 22,000 square feet of entertainment space filled with interactive darts, pool tables, air hockey, 40-plus pinball machines, and even a virtual reality room. The banquet facility features a 2,500-square-foot kitchen, 9,000 square feet of entertainment, and space for up to 400 people.
Right now, the facility located near Allegiant Stadium opens for Vegas Golden Knights games for what feels like an experience at T-Mobile Arena with train horns sounding when the NHL team scores and flashing lights.
“You feel like you’re at the game without being at the game,” says Randy Zinkil, director of operations for Diversion Amusements.
The venue offers nine menus in rotation, spanning barbecue, Italian, and Asian. Each course is served at tables set six feet apart with up to six people per table. Attendees can watch the game from one of 38 TVs or on a 22-foot by 12-foot screen. A Bose sound system and immersive lighting give the space the feel of being in the scoring moment.
Once COVID-19 restrictions lift, Diversion Amusements hopes to serve as a tailgating spot for big games and host charity events, live performance nights, and corporate outings.
Diversion Amusements, 5321 Cameron Street, 702-718-6338. Tickets start at $79.99. For alerts about upcoming events, sign up for the newsletter.
