In another sign that Las Vegas is getting back to normal, Hakkasan Group reopens its nightclub as a lounge on the MGM Grand on Friday, March 26. Hakkasan Nightclub plans to follow the state’s guidance for nightclubs with socially distanced tables. The lounge requires reservations or hotel and non-hotel guests with no general admission.
Hakkasan already reopened the terrace at Omnia at Caesars Palace as a lounge and Wet Republic Ultra Pool as a more serene adults-only pool lounge at the MGM Grand on March 5. Liquid Pool Lounge reopens at Aria as an adults-only pool on March 12. The hospitality company also plans to open its Mexican restaurant Casa Calavera at Virgin Hotels on March 25.
In total, the company brought back more than 350 employees with the reopenings.
Hakkasan’s 10,000-square-foot third level offers with a touchless menu system available via scannable QR code from cell phones. VIP tables will be separated to allow for physical distancing and rigorous cleaning plans will also be implemented, the hospitality company says. The space, draped in blue and adorned with a custom LED media ribbon that wraps the perimeter of the ceiling, features 26 private seating areas sprawled across the room, a custom DJ booth, and two bars of illuminated blue glass and steel.
The restaurant on the first and second floors and nightclub on the fourth and fifth floors remain closed.
Hakkasan will be open Fridays and Saturdays 10:30 p.m. until late. For reservations, visit head online or call 702-891-3838. Guests must be 21 years or older.
