A 24-hour restaurant serving breakfast all day and just a tinge of British fare opens at Virgin Hotels. Kitchen at Commons Club takes over the former Mr. Lucky’s space with carafe cocktails, beer flights, wines by the glass, and more.
Diners can share a vegan caramelized cauliflower steak, fish and chips with cod, a salmon bowl, or bistro steak frites for dinner, while dishes such as a grilled cheese sandwich with bacon and tomato gazpacho, a Cajun grilled chicken sandwich, and a burger with Bearnaise aioli, bacon, and cheddar on a brioche bun that can be swapped out with Beyond Burger make the late-night menu. Nachos, fried calamari, and chicken wings coated with gochujang come on the sharable menu.
The breakfast options include an English breakfast with two fried eggs, bangers, and Heinz baked beans; the Virgin breakfast with three eggs any style, Black Forest ham or bacon, and hash browns; eggs Benedict; huevos rancheros; buttermilk pancakes or waffles; dulce de leche French toast; and a corned beef hash skillet. Diners can order a Dutch baby pancake with smoked salmon and a sunny-side up egg to share.
