Already working on a move to Sunrise later this year, Los Angeles-born Dirt Dog is also quickly headed downtown, bringing “the ultimate bacon wrapped hot dog” to Fremont Street.
Yet to reveal a precise site at the Neonopolis entertainment complex, but expected to be inside the International Eatery food court, Dirt Dog is currently hiring for the quick-service restaurant, creating its third local outpost.
Arriving in the southwest back in 2016 and landing at the Strip’s Grand Bazaar Shops a year later, the expansion eastward to 5105 Sahara Avenue inside the Winterwood Plaza retail center remains under construction.
Dubbed the ”Official Hot Dog of Los Angeles,” the brand serves Nathan’s dogs stacked high with toppings, including bacon, pastrami, cheeses, pickles, sauces, hot Cheetos, and chili, plus sides of loaded fries, chicken nuggets, corn, and dessert options of churros and deep-fried Twinkies and Oreos.
An exact opening date or future opening hours on Fremont Street have not been announced, but hiring notices suggest the location will be open very late.
