Writing a trademark “HELLLOOOOOO” to alert his 358,000 Instagram followers of breaking news, Mr. Fries Man creator Craig Batiste says that Las Vegans will get their first taste of his over-the-top fry concoctions on Saturday in North Las Vegas.
Mr. Fries Man opens in a corner space at the Desert Oaks Plaza in North Las Vegas, close to the intersection of Craig Road and Valley Drive.
The menu features gargantuan portions of French fries topped with honey garlic shrimp and steak, a chicken bacon Parmesan combination, lemon garlic crab and shrimp, Buffalo ranch chicken, and barbecue sauce upgrades to fried or grilled chicken. A plant-based meat option is also available. Diners can also choose their own ingredients to create a dish.
Batiste’s Mr. Fries Man grew from a backyard project in Los Angeles to a rapidly growing franchise in under four years.
A second location inside a former 1,350-square-foot Subway store at the eastside’s Flamingo Market Place, a short drive from Maryland Parkway, is on the docket next.
The California locations offer online ordering.
Mr. Fries Man, 4040 W. Craig Road, North Las Vegas. Open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
