Chickpeas Brings Its Mediterranean Menu of Rotisserie Chicken and Shawarma to the Westside

A locals favorite debuts a new casual dining expansion

Gyro, falafle and kabob plates, on the menu at the new Chickpeas restaurant on Lake Mead Boulevard.

A Spring Valley favorite for Persian and Mediterranean-inspired casual dining since 2015, Chickpeas has launched an expansion eight miles to the north, now open daily close to the intersection of Lake Mead Boulevard and Buffalo Drive.

Tucked into the corner property at the Summergate Centre, the venue has previously been home to a globally influenced list of tenants including Pasta Idea, Jasmine Thai Express, and Bigoli’s Italian Restaurant.

Offering indoor seating and handful of tables outdoors, the new Chickpeas restaurant is smaller in scale than its Flamingo Road flagship, but serves a generous collection of familiar dishes still found at the original space.

On the menu, shawarma and gyro bowls; lamb shank stew; a popular Mediterranean burger; kabob wraps created with lamb, chicken, or beef; individual pizzas; falafel; rotisserie chicken plates; and sides of samosas, hummus, pakoora, and baba ganoush.

Chickpeas, 7668 W. Lake Mead Boulevard, #107. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Takeout and delivery available online.
