Currently listed as “temporarily closed,” updated leasing documents finally confirm the eastside’s Dog Haus Biergarten will be replaced by a new fast-casual restaurant from nationwide barbecue chain Famous Dave’s.
Officially announcing the prototype “Quick ’Que” design was headed to the Paradise Esplanade this June, local broker Logic Commercial Real Estate has now updated its listings to place Famous Dave’s inside the 2,525-square-foot Dog Haus corner plot, a short walk from Big Chicken, Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar, and across Paradise Road from the Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.
Owned by franchisee Alejandro Orozco, who operates 10 of the 145 locations in the Famous Dave’s empire, this location will be unlike its four full-service local restaurants. The Quick ‘Que overhaul will offer counter- and line-serve ordering options for the brand’s St. Louis-Style ribs, Texas brisket, roasted chicken, and Georgia chopped pork.
The California-born Dog Haus debuted in Las Vegas back in March 2016, serving an innovative array of gourmet hot dogs, sausages served on King’s Hawaiian rolls, and stacked-high burgers. The company remains in business across nine states.
The first of two Quick ’Que ventures planned to launch this year, Famous Dave’s has yet to share an estimated opening date, possible hours, or preview its new menu.
