A new brunch with bottomless bloody Marys or mimosas kicks off this weekend at El Dorado Cantina at Tivoli Village. The brunch, dubbed Domingo Divertido (Sunday Funday), features new specialty cocktails and agua frescas with dining options on the umbrella-shaded patio as well as indoors.
New dishes include a watermelon salad with a serrano honey mint dressing for $15; tres leches French toast with strawberries and Chantilly cream for $16; a macho Benedict with chorizo and two poached eggs, topped with a savory cilantro chipotle Hollandaise sauce, guacamole spread, and Fresno chiles, served with breakfast potatoes for $19; and a churro waffle coated in a cinnamon sugar topping and served with fresh berries, caramel plantain sauce, and Chantilly cream for $14.
They join dishes such as huevos divorciados with two fried eggs over fried corn tortillas with Hass avocados, refried beans, queso fresco, and roasted green and red salsa for $14; a breakfast quesadilla stuffed with chorizo, bacon, steak, or grilled veggies with eggs, Oaxacan and Monterey Jack cheese, pico de gallo, guacamole, and sour cream for $14; a breakfast veggie burrito or breakfast burrito with chorizo, bacon, steak, or grilled veggies, each for $16; and chilaquiles for $14.
The brunch takes place every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting on May 2.
