Open for less than a year, Ramen Belly on Sunset Road has shuttered to make way for the third local home of Peg’s Glorified Ham n Eggs and its second expansion into Henderson.
Family-run and a northern Nevada fixture since 1991, Peg’s Glorified Ham n Eggs became an instant hit when it arrived on Eastern Avenue in 2017 and Sahara Avenue on the westside a year later.
The new location will fill 3,162 square feet, a short distance from the entrances leading to the Sunset Station at the intersection with Stephanie Street and across the street from the Galleria at Sunset shopping mall in Henderson.
Featuring an angled front entrance, the corner space was previously a Pei Wei Asian Diner, a few steps from current tenants Cold Stone Creamery and a Chipotle outpost.
All Peg’s restaurants are open daily from 6.30 a.m to 2 p.m. and offer turquoise colored booth seating, serving up “glorified,” generous portions of skillets, omelets, Benedicts, and a familiar roster of morning specials, lunch options of sandwiches and burgers, plus fried spam and eggs, and loco moco on the “Peg’s ‘Aloha’ from Hawaii” side of the menu.
