Self-described as “the dance club for people who don’t like dance clubs,” downtown's Oddfellows is undergoing a substantial 1,050-square-foot expansion on the ground floor of Ogden condominium tower.
Originally hoped to be completed this month, the changes to the original 2,200-square-foot bar and club will feature improvements to the bathrooms and main dance floor.
Earlier this year, the club kept the corner bar space open on a temporary basis, but have closed the venue during the final upgrades. The drinks menu had been already updated with $10 cocktails, including an Old Fashioned, The Garden, a tequila-based creation, and the vodka, raspberry, and lemon juice Raz SourPuss.
Formerly the Scullery, operated by Michael Cornthwaite’s Future Restaurant Group, Texan Harvey Graham brought Oddfellows to the corner of Sixth Street and Ogden Avenue back in 2015, featuring video DJs, vinyl deep cuts, karaoke, ’80s and ’90s themed-nights, and early morning closing hours.
