A new shop scoops up artisan batches of ice cream in clever flavor combinations right behind Fashion Show. Secret Creamery is one of the few licensed ice cream manufacturers in Nevada, churning out flavors such as ube, brownie, toasted marshmallow, strawberry rose, fig+honey, and more exotic flavors such as dragon fruit, mango, blueberry goat cheese, and 24-month aged Parmesan ice cream.
The scoop shop sits inside a converted 40-foot shipping container in the parking lot of the closed Sonny’s Saloon bar and restaurant with the ice cream manufactured at 6265 S. Valley View Drive. The creamery tries to buy locally whenever possible, using cheese coming from Cured & Whey, using Nevada milk and brownies and cookies from Carl’s Donuts.
To celebrate its grand opening, Secret Creamery is giving away ice cream scoops on Memorial Day from 12:30 to 10 p.m. or until it’s sold out. Customers who want to get in on the giveaway can pre-register online.
Secret Creamery, 3449 Sammy Davis Jr. Drive. Open Saturday and Sunday from noon to 10 p.m. Online ordering available.
