Capri Pool Restaurant & Bar opens poolside for Venetian guests only

A new poolside restaurant caters exclusively to sunbathers and pool splashers at the Venetian. Capri Pool Restaurant & Bar from 50 Eggs Hospitality Group serves breakfast and lunch with an al fresco bar and lounge overlooking the renovated pool deck at the resort.

Diners can pick up an acai bowl or a Cali omelet with avocado, spinach, and heirloom tomatoes for breakfast, along with avocado toast, a Baja breakfast burrito with bacon and a potato hash, chocolate chip pancakes, and a bagel and lox.

Lunch brings a summer salad with baby kale, arugula, jalapeño-basil vinaigrette, jicama, and strawberries as well as a wagyu beef brat, fish tacos, a truffle burger, a Maine lobster roll, and Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Sushi rolls come with spicy tuna, veggies, a California version, and surf and turf with wagyu beef. snow crab, and asparagus.

Customers can cool off with Dole whip or rainbow ice cram with Fruity Pebbles and funfetti ice cream.

Capri also offers cabana menus that serve four to six people. One $135 option comes with guacamole, salsa and chips, chicken tenders, truffle burger sliders, a Margaherita pizza, crispy tuna, and Parmesan fries, while an Alaskan king crab dish goes for $58. Diners can opt for a frozen S’mores sandcastle with chocolate and vanilla ice cream, marshmallow, and graham cracker crumbs.

Pool-goers can order cold-pressed juices and cocktails as well. The restaurant says the Turmeric Tonic helps fight inflammation while the Green Giant combines apples and honey.

Local Las Vegas firm Novus Architecture designed the casual restaurant with aqua glass, mosaic tiles, and fabrics that give the space a coastal vibe, The restaurant joins Spritz Restaurant & Bar, which opened two years ago on the pool deck.
