Summerlin has become the hub of restaurants dedicated to the Vegas Golden Knights, the city’s NHL team. Wolfgang Puck Players Locker in Downtown Summerlin offers a shrine to the team, while fans can watch the team practice at MacKenzie River Pizza, Grill & Pub at City National Arena. Now as the Golden Knights clinch a berth in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, a new experience pops up at Red Rock Resort.
The resort partnered with the Vegas Golden Knights to open Crimson at Knight, a fan viewing experience with prime game viewing, larger than life Golden Knights photo moments, and plenty of food and beverage options starting on Friday, May 7, and open through July.
The outdoor poolside pop-up features an entrance with a Knight helmet that seems to transport fans into a Fortress-inspired atmosphere. Customers can take photos with a life-sized cutout of goalie Marc-André Fleury.
Diners can order a beer and seltzer party tub packed with up to 24 beers and seltzers. Food options include crispy chicken and angus sliders, salt and pepper chicken wings, golden nachos, chipotle pork ribs, a burnt end burrito, a foot-long hot dog, a chicken sandwich, and a burger. Specialty cocktails include The Frosted Puck with Jack Daniels, sugar, angostura bitters, and applewood smoke and The Fleury featuring Grey Goose Essences Strawberry and Lemongrass, lemon and Bud Light Lemonade.
Fans can watch games on lounge furniture, inside cabanas with individual TVs showing the Knights games, and at bar top seating with outdoor games such as hockey cornhole and giant TV screens. A live DJ will keep the action going.
The venue opens on Friday, May 7, and will be open every Friday and Saturday starting at 6 p.m. The venue also opens one hour before every Golden Knights game. Reservations are encouraged for guaranteed seating although walk-ins are welcome. Attendees must be 21 or older to enter. For reservations, call 702-797-7873.
