Revealed last October, Nacho Daddy is officially announcing the return of gourmet nachos and scorpion shots to Henderson, joining the under-construction Farmer Boys and Texas Roadhouse restaurants and a recently debuted drive-thru In-N-Out Burger.
Promised to be “coming soon,” the Henderson outpost is headed to the Costco-anchored St. Rose Square retail center. Filling 4,556 square feet, Pad F sits on St. Rose Parkway and close to the intersection with Amigo Street. Original plans also called for an outdoor patio.
Launched in 2010 and quickly transforming into a company favorite for local Zappos employees and future silent business partner Tony Hsieh, Nacho Daddy shuttered on Eastern Avenue in 2016, to make way for Chick-fil-A, but has since expanded its casual Mexican restaurant to Peccole Ranch, downtown Las Vegas, the Miracle Mile Shops, and out of state to Duluth, Georgia, and Salt Lake City.
Open for lunch, dinner, and its very popular happy hours, the Nacho Daddy menu is centered around a lengthy collection of quirky nacho dishes, including lobster and crab, Southern fried chicken, and filet mignon variants, plus tacos, enchiladas, flaming fajitas, burritos, margaritas, and cocktails, headlined by the infamous scorpion tequila shot, featuring salt, a slime wedge, and a sting-removed, recently deceased scorpion.
