The Rhodes Ranch Town Center can expect two new dining tenants later this year, including one counter-service restaurant that has already proven a hit at Town Square.
Southern California’s Chop Stop filed paperwork to move next to Amazing Thai 2, a short distance from the intersection of Warm Spring Road and Durango Drive. Replacing a former cell phone retail store, the space is expected to be very similar to the original local Chop Stop at the The Landing retail annex on Las Vegas Boulevard, close to Cafe Rio and The Broken Yolk Cafe.
Specializing in finely chopped, customizable salad bowls, customers can choose from 40 toppings, plus options of grains and greens, or wrap the salads inside tortillas and pair with warm pretzels sticks. An estimated opening date has not been announced.
Right next door, but yet to be confirmed, real estate broker Newmark has earmarked the vacant property to be occupied by newcomer Argana Café, serving a menu of Mediterranean bites.
The café replaces a casual Mexican menu from Me Gusta Tacos, which expanded from The District at Green Valley Ranch back in 2017, but shuttered earlier this year. Details of a possible opening timetable, or menu hints have not been revealed.
