Say so long to Burger Lounge and hello to Posh Burger at Aria. The new burger restaurant takes over Southern California’s Burger Lounge, which opened in 2016 next door to the resort’s poker room. Its opening brought back burgers to the casino floor for the first time since the 2013 closure of the Skybox Sports Bar & Grill.
Posh Burger, created by MGM Resorts International, will open on June 11 with burgers, breakfast and chicken sandwiches, as well as shakes. The menu features the ultra-posh burger with wagyu beef, foie gras, truffle, and gold dust; super deluxe wagyu steak burger, a half-pound wagyu beef burger with house-made steak sauce, white cheddar cheese, onions, and pickles; a truffle mushroom burger with a double cheeseburger with sautéed mushrooms and onions, garlic truffle sauce ,and truffled Gouda cheese; an Impossible burger; spicy Buffalo fried chicken sandwich with hot Buffalo sauce, lettuce, pickles, and ranch dressing; and the breakfast burger, a beef patty with an organic fried egg, American cheese, tomato, and mayonnaise. French fries, onion rings, jalapeño tater tots, loaded cheese fries, and a garden salad round out the food. Diners can order a chocolate banana or salted caramel milkshake as well.
Burger Lounge closed May 31.
Posh Burger marks the third switch at Aria that swaps out a restaurant from a known chef or restaurant chain and replaces it with an MGM Resorts brand. Salt & Ivy Café and Patio took the place of Herringbone last year in January, while Shawn McClain’s Five50 Pizza Bar converted into Moneyline Pizza & Bar last July.
Posh Burger at Aria should not be confused with the short-lived Poshburger Bistro that closed in 2013 in Peccole Ranch.
At Aria, the new burger restaurant plans to be open from Sunday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 a.m.
