A neighborhood hit when it debuted back in 2018, Centennial's Lemongrass & Lime is expanding to Summerlin, bringing its Thai bistro lunch and dinner menu and adding a new outdoor patio.
Replacing a former vitamin store, Lemongrass & Lime will take over the 1,432-square-foot suite 120 at the Vista Commons retail center, a few steps from China A Go Go and Mark Rich’s NY Pizza.
Located right at the intersection of Charleston Boulevard and Desert Foothills Drive, the compact space will offer room inside for 44 diners and install a handful of tables on its 400-square-foot patio.
Permits filed with the city predict future daily hours will be from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and closing at 9 p.m. on Sundays, but an estimated opening date has not been revealed.
Originally penciled to expand to Centennial’s Skye Canyon Marketplace, a vacancy now occupied by Quik Thai, Lemongrass & Lime has secured a very loyal following for its lengthy menu, serving weekday lunch specials, salads, tom yum and tom kha soups, noodles, a range of curries including crispy duck and pumpkin recipes, plus entrées of deep-fried catfish, grilled whole squid, “crying tiger beef,” and lamb chops topped with a roasted Thai chili sauce.
