A Mountain’s Edge Mexican Cantina Brings Its Triple Threat Chimichanga to Henderson Next

HENDERSON — A second location of El Luchador Mexican Kitchen + Cantina opens in Henderson later this year. The restaurant from Hooper Hospitality Concepts debuted in Mountain’s Edge in January with Southern California-style Mexican cuisine from chef Aaron Bryan. HENDERSON and SPRING VALLEY — Two new 24-hour sports bars open this summer from PKWY Tavern. PKWY Volunteer, located at 511 Dale Ave. in Henderson, opens in late July, and PKWY Decatur, located at 4930 W Flamingo Road, debuts the first week of August. In Henderson, the 6,800-square-foot space will feature a center bar with 50 taps and more than 200 canned and bottled beer options, an open dining area, a private room for large parties, and a patio with outdoor seating facing Las Vegas Boulevard across from the M Resort. PKWY Decatur takes over the former Ricardo’s space, which closed last year. The remodeled restaurant features a full bar with 50 beers on tap, two dining rooms with 52 TVs, seating options for both small and large parties, and a separate private room.
