A local dining destination for more than a decade, Weera Thai has grown from its red boothed origins on Sahara Avenue and is sharing hints of what to expect when its third location debuts later this year in the southwest.
Moving into the southwest's Commons at Warm Springs retail center, the 2,897-square-foot corner property will be the largest in its restaurant portfolio, a follow-up to the 1,776-square foot Weera Thai Kitchen that launched at Shanghai Plaza on Spring Mountain Road back in 2019.

Previewed to be offering lunch specials and happy hour deals from 4 to 10 p.m., renderings of the Rainbow Boulevard expansion suggest customers will walk through open red doors — a symbol of luck, health, and fortune in some Asian cultures — and into an open-plan dining room centered around a cherry blossom tree.
Fans should expect a very similar menu to the Sahara original, including Northern Thailand-inspired dishes, curries, Thai street food, and crispy duck chef specials.
