After 13 years in Las Vegas, island living kingpins Tommy Bahama revamps its restaurant at Town Square into Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar, opening in mid-August. Doug Wood, the CEO of Tommy Bahama, describes this new casual dining and shopping experience as “a fun, lively place that leads with the bar, offers great food, great ambiance, and a relaxed shopping experience.”
The 5,560 square-foot location has an open floor plan that flows from the restaurant and bar into the retail store with a large covered patio. Diners place their orders at the bar, and servers deliver. The bar offers cocktails, frozen drinks, zero-proof cocktails, and more, while the menu features fan favorites such as Tommy Bahama’s coconut shrimp and chicken mango salad, as well as a variety tacos, sliders, handheld sandwiches, and bowls.
The original Tommy Bahama Restaurant, Bar & Store, will close in August before the new location opens. Once Marlin Bar, debuts, it plans to be open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
