Operator and founder Mehdi Zarhloul has never made a secret of the ambitious plans for his Crazy Pita Rotisserie & Grill, and now seven years after an expansion to Downtown Summerlin, the casual Mediterranean restaurant is making a move to the southwest.
First launching in Henderson back in 2006, Crazy Pita is headed to a brand new development on the southwest corner of Windmill Lane and Rainbow Boulevard, part of an 8,250-square-foot building that offers room for three more tenants.
Located a shot distance from Dirt Dog, and the Southwest Marketplace retail center, home to the under construction MochiCo., Zarhloul expects his counter-service restaurant to be completed this fall.
Also serving at Town Square, the District at Green Valley Ranc, and looking to nationally franchise, Zarhloul recently shared on social media he had been experimenting with a series of new recipes.
The popular menu already features pita sandwiches and rice bowls prepared with ground kefta patties, marinated chicken, steak, shrimp, lamb, and vegetable ingredients, plus a very popular rotisserie chicken option, skewer plates, and sides of baba ganoush, falafel, feta salad, and a hummus and pita dip.
