Area15, the 200,000-square-foot entertainment complex west of the Strip, plans to open a cocktail bar with a ride taking customers 131 feet in the air for seven minutes. Rise — An Elevated Bar Experience opens this fall with a 360-degree view of the city. Riders can bring along a cocktail or nonalcoholic beverage on board from a full-service bar dubbed Oasis at the base of the ride.
Visitors will then be strapped into their seats with their feet dangling below, ascending to the summit with the Las Vegas skyline as their background. The 16-seat gondola rotates 360 degrees. The ride, manufactured by Aerophile, will be the first of its kind built in the United States.
Once open, the ride can accommodate children at least 42 inches tall for $12 and adults for $18, with an optional drink package starting at $26.
The adult entertainment playground features experiences spanning large-scale artwork and a futuristic grocery store to a stroll through as well as a food hall and bars.
