Following all the large, out-of-state fried chicken chains flooding into Las Vegas, a father-and-son team have set an opening date for their own Chicago-style spin on casual dining favorites.
Announcing an August 13 debut, Trask’s Chicken & Fish will replace the shuttered Flame Broiler on the westside, located at the Rainbow Business Center, next door to a Starbucks and close to the intersection of Rainbow Boulevard and Washington Avenue.
Promising a south side of Chicago take on its fast-casual menu, operators La’Charles and Larry Trask plan for the restaurant to be open daily from 10.30 a.m to midnight.
Filling 1,253 square feet, with the future option of outdoor seating, homesick Chicagoans can take in a mural depicting a CTA Red Line train at the 95th Street station inside. A preview menu has yet to be revealed.
