Local property developers are increasing looking for fast-casual tenants to add a drive-thru option to their new builds, and one original restaurantt is going one step further and dubbing itself “pandemic ready” on permit documents prior to a future debut in Sunrise.
Optimistically scheduled for later this year, the Flip’N Burger Joint has no connection to Flippin’ Good Chicken, Burgers, Beer on Fremont East, but is promising its own value menu focused on serving “never frozen” beef.”
Moving into a shopping center parking lot at the intersection of Nellis Boulevard and Desert Inn Road, the food stand will sit close to Ant Thai Food and across the street from a Jack in the Box. Filling 366 square feet, the drive-thru will offer no indoor dining, and customers will order direct from staff at a window, not a call box.
Planned to be open daily form 10 a.m. to 10 p.m, the menu will include a $4.20 burger, a kids’ menu, and a free Flip’n Pup Patty for any dogs riding along in their owner’s cars.
Currently working out layout logistics with the Clark County Planning Commission, Flip’N Burger is also proposing to eventually offer delivery service “to anywhere in Las Vegas.”
