Two food trucks make stops in Las Vegas with ice cream and water ice.
First up, Boise-based Killer Creamery tours five different Albertsons during the last week of September, bringing all-natural, zero-sugar ice cream. Killer Creamery plans to sample its latest product launch, Killer Sammies, a zero-sugar ice cream sandwich, and showcases its pint flavors. Visit the ice cream truck’s website for times and dates, which recently changed.
LA’s popular Black-owned food truck, Happy Ice, rolls through Las Vegas on October 2-3 from noon to 7 p.m. at the Las Vegas South Premium Outlets. Happy Ice offers vegan water ice, which is a Philadelphia classic slushy/sorbet-like treat with an artistic LA twist.
One other popup to know brings Nightmare on Spring Mountain back to the Sand Dollar Lounge from October 1 to November 1, running from 3 p.m. to 4 a.m. daily. The Halloween-themed pop-up promises cocktails such as the Dark Star, a spin on the hot toddy, and Peter Pan, a pumpkin spice slushy; Halloween-themed chocolates and ice cream from Happy Endings Chocolate on Friday nights; and a selfie station.
