One of the most respected restaurants in Las Vegas finally debuted in the southwest is now serving its full innovative menu, where classic Northern Thailand-inspired dishes meet street food favorites. Now open for lunch and dinner, Weera Thai moved into a spacious, 2,897-square-foot corner property at the Commons at Warm Springs retail center, close to the intersection of Rainbow Boulevard and Warm Springs Road.
Diners enter through red doors, a symbol of good luck, and encounter a single main dining room, filled with booths and traditional seating, plenty of Edison lamps hung from the ceiling, floral arrangements and an open-plan kitchen. The restaurant brings its popular happy hour from 4 to 10 p.m. and imported a lengthy menu featuring lunch special deals, its famed crispy duck, curries, larb dishes, seafood, noodles, and street food-inspired creations.
Weera Thai also operates La Cantine du Siam in Paris, France, Weera Larb Ped in Chiang Mai, Thailand since 1978. Locally Weera Thai has been a local destination for almost a dozen years on Sahara Avenue and most recently in Chinatown at Shanghai Plaza.
