Las Vegas loves to combine dinner and a show, and the latest restaurant to bring just that opens at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Spiegelworld — the production company behind Absinthe, Atomic Saloon Show, and Opium — debuts Superfrico, a sidekick to Opium, with a meld of dining on what it calls “Italian American psychedelic” fare and entertainment.
Essentially, the restaurant that took over the Rose. Rabbit. Lie. space at the resort becomes another outlet for the crazy shenanigans of Opium next door to spill into the dining experience. Performers come and go from their dressing rooms to the Opium Theatre through Superfrico’s kitchen and dining rooms. The entire space features a roster of themed bars, lounges, and dining rooms waiting to be explored. The Artery offers a dining room filled with technicolor art, while the Studio brings a deejay spinning as diners sit down for a meal or grab a drink at the bar. The Ski Lodge, dubbed an aprés-ski cocktail bar, features fireplace and a picture window overlooking winter skiing destinations, while the Bottle-O sells house-blended and bottled cocktail flasks and small-batch beverages in a gift shop setting. There’s even a secret polka room, of course.

The menu offers a mix of pizzas, chicken Parm, a 40-ounce Creekstone tomahawk, and even a roasted pineapple sorbetto. At the bars find the Under the Host Martini, a riff on the dirty martini, as well as Penguins Take Manhattan, named after Superfrico’s two mascots, with black sesame-infused bourbon, rum, sherry and Cynar, served in a white chocolate and sesame-dipped coupe. Customers at the show can order pan pizzas and cocktails via a mobile app delivered right to their seats for consumption during Opium.
