Ellis Island Casino & Brewery Holiday Nog
Legend has it that Ellis Island owner Gary Ellis’ grandfather, Frank Ellis Sr., learned how to make this eggnog recipe from a fellow passenger on a ship taking him from Italy to the United States in 1953. Ellis found the recipe in the 1980s and began making small batches in his home kitchen. The dairy-based holiday beverage is now available at Ellis Island and all Village Pub locations across Southern Nevada.

Jaleo at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas has a takeout wine program focused on Spanish wines with 35 different wines available to go, curated specially by the team’s wine experts. For sparkling wines, customers select two favorites from Raventós i Blanc winery: Cuvée José and de Nit Rosé ($35) and Manuel Raventós ($125). In terms of white wines, there is the G1200 Getariako Txakolina ($35), an organic certified txakolina made with the local grape Hondarrabi Zuri. Also a popular white, the La del Vivo ($72) from Raul Perez in Bierzo has the minerality of a chardonnay from Chablis and the creaminess of a chardonnay from Napa.
