Amanta Real Thai Food

Breakfast favorite The Egg Works just opened its newest location in Henderson. Looks for breakfast dishes along with sandwiches and the restaurant’s Cincy Chili served four ways.

This mobile outlet serves up a combination of shave ice and cream. Flavors include vanilla dream, Dutch cacao, mucho mango, coconut delight, ex straw binary, coffeelicious, black sesame ad smooth green tea. Diners can pick from an assortment of toppings as well.

Giovanni's Pizza

Look for strombolis and calzones at the restaurant under new management. Chicken wings and chicken fingers make an appearance. Cannolis, zeppolis and tiramisu make the dessert menu. smothered calzone and it was exceptional. Check out the small market of imported goods.

Kinnaree Thai & Vegetarian

Kinnaree takes over the former Lilly’s Thai & Vietnamese space on Sahara Avenue. Look for Thai and vegetarian cuisine such as Panang Curry Chicken and Papaya Salad. Dishes are gluten free and no MSG is added.

Layers Bakery

The Henderson bakery opens a second location in Spring Valley. Look for baked goods with no artificial ingredients, preservatives or trans fats. Quiches, salads and sandwiches also make the menu. Keep in mind it’s only open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Pho Sing Sing

New Vietnamese pho shop Pho Sing Sing joins the mix of Chinatown restaurants. Look for typical combinations such as Pho Tai (rare beef and noodles) and Pho Bac Diet (beef brisket) as well as Bun Bo Hue and Mi Sate. Also find slushies.

Rika Arepa Express

The Venezuelan sandwich goes mobile with the new Rika Arepa Express food truck. Find nine items on the menu including the Reina Pepiada with shredded chicken breast, Pollo Guisado with stewed and shredded chicken, Pernil with its slow-cooked marinated pork and Atun with tuna. Find it on Fridays at the Downtown 3rd Farmer’s Market.

The Philadelphia dessert treat continues its invasion of Vegas with a new location on North Rainbow Boulevard. Look for Italian ice in 39 flavors along with Cream Ice, Blendinis that combine Italian ice, Cream Ice and candy toppings and more.
