Land a four-course prix fixe for $49 that includes choice of two soups, an appetizer of crab cake accompanied by leek tartare or ahi tuna carpaccio, three entrée choices of prime rib with au jus; red snapper with roasted root vegetables complete with red pepper sauce; or roasted duck with cinnamon sauce. For dessert, Buche de Noel, a chocolate yule log cake roll filled with pastry cream, decorated with meringue and whipping cream or a Snowman Vacherin made completely out of homemade vanilla ice cream with a scarf made from colored marzipan, the bottom made out of whipped cream, raspberry sauce around the outside with whole blueberries topped with crystal sugar for a snowlike effect.
The Christmas menu at Comme Ca is served Dec. 24-25 from 5 to 11 p.m. for $52 per person or $75 per person with a wine pairing. The family-style meal includes Soup of Wild Pheasant with winter vegetable matignon and Bloomsdale Spinach served with a Frog Hollow Farms Warren pear salad., Roasted Prime Rib of Beef; Chestnut Agnolotti with brown butter, pomegranate and sage; Brussels Sprouts with pineapple smoked ham en croute; and sides of Red-Eye Gravy and Horseradish Root Cream and Holiday Spiced Apple Tarte Tatin served with eggnog ice cream.
