Travellng to Cuba from the United States may be easier than it was 10 years ago, but the process is still not a simple one. Technically, visits to Cuba must fall under one of 12 approved reasons, including humanitarian aid and journalistic activity. Once there, spending money can be tricky, since the U.S. Department of State forbids Americans from patronizing a growing list of hotels, stores, and other businesses.

While it’s true that eating Cuban food in Cuba is always preferred, a slew of Las Vegas restaurants serve popular dishes.
