Hachi Japanese Yakitori Izakaya
Hachi, the Japanese izakaya in Chinatown, features an entire robata menu with dishes such as bincho-tan charcoal grill chicken, grilled mackerel, a cheese chikuwa with mozzarella cheese wrapped with fish cake, grilled squid with teriyaki sauce and spicy mayo, tsukune made with ground pork, cherry tomatoes wrapped with bacon, beef tongue, and more.
Raku’s robata dishes start at $1.25 per skewer to $17.50. The restaurant from Mitsuo Endo, a repeat nominee for a James Beard Foundation Best Chef West award, grills up chicken thighs, Kurobuta pork cheek, pork ear, yellowtail with glazed soy-based sauce, tomato, enoki mushroom wrapped with bacon, and foie gras until 3 a.m. in Chinatown.
Mizumi, the decadent Japanese restaurant at Wynn, offers its own robata grill with saikyo miso sea bass, sea scallop with spicy miso sauce, Alaskan king crab, whole grilled bone marrow and even a platter with five dishes meant to share.
SushiSamba at the Grand Canal Shoppes dishes a combination of Peruvian, Brazilian and Japanese dishes that includes items served from the robata grill. Diners can order duck breast with sansho pepper vinaigrette, whole squid with lemon aioli, hamachi with key lime and su-shoyu, asparagus, cherry tomatoes, and more.
Otoro Robata Grill & Sushi
Otoro at the Mirage features a long list of robato dishes including shishito peppers, Japanese eggplant, Chilean sea bass, day boat scallop, king crab, togarashi sirloin steak, baby lamb chop, and pork belly. Order dishes at the bar overlooking the casino floor or in the dining room.
