While the juicing craze seems to have hit over a year ago, many people still assume that drinking your fruits and vegetables tastes simply awful. In fact, you can get tasty juice creations that can include sweet treats like agave or maple syrup, all while being good for you. Many smaller establishments cold-press their juices instead of using the more common method of a hydraulic press juicer. This hydraulic press juicer applies several thousands of pounds of pressure at once. Using a hydraulic press prolongs shelf life of fresh juices, but can remove some of the good nutrients and bacteria from the fruits and vegetables. Cold-pressed juice is a simple squeezing and crushing action of products. This method doesn’t oxidize the fruit and vegetables and allows for the juice to keep not only its essential nutrients, but also taste and color. No matter which method is used, getting a larger dose of fruits and veggies is good for you. Here, a look at the 12 best juice bars in Las Vegas.
