Word is out about this local’s favorite bar. Only in Vegas would you find a bar that celebrates the understated comfort of a midwestern basement as effectively as the Silver Stamp does. There’s wood paneling, Christmas lights, and empties adhered to the wall. But the real draw is the affordably priced beer on tap. Unsure what to drink? Ask your bartender. The historic Hard Hat Lounge changed ownership in October, with best friends Frank Sidoris and Robby Cunningham taking over one of Las Vegas’ oldest bars. Cunningham, who is behind Guerrilla Pizza, is still slinging Detroit-style pies while he and Sidoris revamp the bar’s interior and event planning.

Square Bar was conceived as a place to relive Las Vegas’ heyday. The vaguely 70s-themed bar in New Orleans Square pairs cocktails to your star sign. Pisces are encouraged to order the Kermit Martini with creme de menthe while scorpios may choose to try the Wai Sunrise with tequila and watermelon pucker.

Chef Nicole Brisson’s Spanish tapas concept, Bar Zazu, opened at the end of 2021 and while, yes, you could sit at a table and have a formal meal, the tapas concept is just as suited for stopping in for a drink and a bite to eat. Excellent sangrias are on the cocktail menu, plus a selection of signature cocktails all named after the custom digital art pieces on the walls. Try the Highlander, inspired by Spanish gin and tonics, with Botanist gin, green chartreuse, lime, tarragon, and tonic.

Resorts World Las Vegas’ new bar is located directly underneath Wally’s Wine and Spirits. The cocktail bar features a collection of agave-based cocktails and Mexican bar food. Cocktails include the $22 Mercado Caliente with tequila, Cointreau, prickly pear puree, muddled jalapeno, and fresh lime juice while the $100 24-Carat Margarita is topped with real gold flake.

The Christmas pop-up bar is back in full swing this year, and the locals’ bar has again gone all out in decking the halls, the ceiling, the bar, and every other possible service in all sorts of festive decorations. Plus, there’s the festive seasonal drinks.

The sophisticated, club-like bar and lounge at Wakuda replicates the vibrant energy of the Shinjuku district of Tokyo with guest DJs every Friday and Saturday night. The lounge at the sushi restaurant pours cocktails like the Stone, Water, Plants with gin, shiso, cucumber, green tea, and tonic. You can also order sushi rolls and light bites. 

In the spirit of axe-throwing bars, this dart bar offers you and your party a private lane to throw darts. The board even does the scoring for you. While playing, nosh on finger foods like yuzu guacamole, mini beef barbacoa tacos, Bavarian pretzel sticks with pimento cheese spread, Buffalo chicken sandwiches. Inside, there’s also a bar that looks like a carousel at which you can order drinks.

The Cabinet of Curiosities is something between a bar and a scavenger hunt. Decorated with all manner of oddities, many of the items double as clues to the mystery you can uncover. The Lock is an intimate speakeasy within the Cabinet. To gain entry, find the Locksmith and solve one of two hidden puzzles.

Bravo star Lisa Vanderpump’s second Vegas restaurant, Vanderpump à Paris follows Vanderpump’s success at Vanderpump Cocktail Garden at Caesars Palace.

The restaurant aims to transport guests to a French courtyard. Guests can order the restaurant’s signature cocktail, called the Lovelocked: a gin-based cocktail that serves two and comes with a padlock in one glass and a key in the other. 

Superfrico has a couple of bars inside it, but the best is the Ski Lodge, a speakeasy style bar decorated to feel like an apres-ski spot in a high-end mountain town. Guests can snack on pizza from Superfrico’s pizza menu, but the cocktail program is distinct, with drinks designed by Leo Robitschek and Mauro Villalobos. Try a take on an espresso martini, made with cold brew, coconut cream and cardamom.

Located high above the Las Vegas Strip, this multi-level, 30,000-square-foot bar offers awesome views of Las Vegas. Of the 96 beers on tap, many are unique to the Scottish brewery — though they also have guest taps from Las Vegas bars. There’s also pizza and burgers, plus a game room.
