Decorated with images from slashers and thrillers, even the drinks are themed, with vampire teeth and skull-tipped toothpicks securing skewered fruit in cocktails named after each of the seven deadly sins. The biscuits are shaped like skulls, too.

The historic Hard Hat Lounge changed ownership in October, with best friends Frank Sidoris and Robby Cunningham taking over one of Las Vegas’ oldest bars. Cunningham, who is behind Guerrilla Pizza, is still slinging Detroit-style pies while he and Sidoris revamp the bar’s interior and event planning.

Square Bar

Square Bar was conceived as a place to relive Las Vegas’ heyday. The vaguely 70s-themed bar in New Orleans Square pairs cocktails to your star sign. Pisces are encouraged to order the Kermit Martini with creme de menthe while scorpios may choose to try the Wai Sunrise with tequila and watermelon pucker.

The cocktails at Caviar Bar are just what you’d expect at a restaurant with a focus on such a high-end ingredient. Try the High Roller, a martini made with Beluga vodka and topped with a blue cheese and prosciutto stuffed olive. The Cabinet of Curiosities is something between a bar and a scavenger hunt. Decorated with all manner of oddities, many of the items double as clues to the mystery you can uncover. The Lock is an intimate speakeasy within the Cabinet. To gain entry, find the Locksmith and solve one of two hidden puzzles.

Getting a slice of Steve Aoki’s pizza? Go with the Tropic Thunder cocktail, with rum, orgeat, cola, and lime.
